The 5th edition of Shubhapalalba had released on 1st January in 2019 on the eve of New Year. This issue made the 1st circle of Shubhapallaba from the beginning day to a new year. The cover photo of this edition had been designed by Sambeet Das which reflects one Odia Tradition known as "Pushutuni" and the editorial was also based on that particular Topic written by Tapas Ranjan. Both the editors Sangram Keshari Senapati & Tapas Ranjan had edited this edition.
